Directors comment As the year before, the screenplay for Steinerei 2011 was written together with my colleague Frank Lauenroth. The motto of the contest was "chaos" and Frank had the idea to let happen the story in a big city. We took the ultimate disaster movie "die hard 3" as model and so Vitali the truck driver is the Bruce Willis of the highway and dressed in typical undershirt. The film was made espacially for the Steinerei 2011 (German brickfilm festival) in Kaiserslautern. The motto in 2011 was "chaos". The film got third in jury voting and second in audience and brickfilmer voting (out of 21 films). |
